Q. When you meet up for a date, arriving by how many minutes earlier from the meeting time would be ideal?

She won’t like it if I come way too early, but to make her think of me as “the guy who shows up 5 minutes before meeting time” is a bit… (laugh). That’s why I think 3 minutes earlier is the best. By the way, I’m always coming late. That’s why as long as she contacts me, even though she says “I’ll be late for 5 hours”, it won’t matter for me! If I’m the one who comes late, I’ll apologize over and over again until she forgives me ❤

Q. What is your most memorable place in Tokyo?

Shibuya. My current office and also the school I attended were located around Shibuya, so I often hang out in Shibuya. It’s like the origin of trends, so as someone who loves fashion, I like it a lot. In the currently-aired Netflix original series, “Imawa no Kuni no Arisu”, it all begins from Shibuya Scrambled Crossing too. It feels like everything is connected by fate.

Q. Recently, what spot in Tokyo are you interested in?

Ginza, I guess. It was like an unexplored area for me before, but since I had lots of chances to visit it due to my job, I became really interested in it. There were high-class stores lining up on one side, but when you go further into the alley, you can find a shrine. I like places which are kinda deep like that. I’d like to go for a stroll there to explore more about its historical scenery. It’s also a good place for having a date.

Q. What is the highlight of “Imawa no Kuni no Arisu” which has Shibuya as its main setting?

I think it’s how the villainous characters come out among the characters with strong, distinct personalities (laugh). But Niragi is a super cool guy. In the story, he might seem like a guy who is lacking of common sense, but he actually has all sorts of worries and problems anyone must be feeling inside him, so he’s actually aware of many things as well. During the filming, I worked with many actors I’m getting along well with, so it was really fun!

Q. What would you do if you are going for a mature date with woman in the same age as GINGER readers?

First, at 11, we will have lunch at a lovely hotel. Then, I’ll take her with my car to Shinjuku Gyoen, the area around Imperial Palace, and also other connected areas, then we go for negative ion spa and sweets shops. Then, after appreciating arts in the modern art gallery around Aoyama, we’ll wrap up our date with eating soba. Of course I’ll drive her home.
